Inés Gowland is an Argentinean filmmaker whose work has screened worldwide, including such festivals as Sundance, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, Atlanta, and Palm Springs. 
She specializes in narrative films, especially focusing on creating a visual language that services story and the characters above all.

Inés was selected for the 2019-2020 ASC Vision Mentorship Program and is a member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers.
She has an MFA in Filmmaking from New York University, where she became a Graduate Fellow for Cinematography, won the Nestor Almendros Award for Cinematography and was a finalist for the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Cinematography 2017.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Inés is currently based in Brooklyn, New York but her work takes her  all over the world.
